Entrepreneur's Club

Join the Club and boost your chances of success!

The Entrepreneur´s Club aims to promote an entrepreneurial mindset, with activities that will foster innovation at the CRG. We organize monthly events and seminars for networking and to discuss about real business cases with experts in the sector. Whether you are considering starting up a new venture or you are simply interested in entrepreneurship, we encourage you to get involved in our innovation environment.

Altogether, the TBDO facilitates entrepreneurial training by providing workshops, round table sessions with established entrepreneurs and investors, guest speakers, entrepreneur challenges and by providing our future entrepreneurs with the tools and insight necessary for bringing new ideas to fruition and taking ownership in their development.

We also welcome any initiative raised by our members that fits with the spirit of our club.

Science2Business Concept Challenge

The Science to Business (S2B) Concept Challenge is a TBDO initiative that celebrates the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among CRG researchers, with a view to pursuing commercialization of a technology that originated in CRG research. The challenge aims to address critical healthcare and market needs, while stimulating our CRG entrepreneurs to create innovative strategies to address them.

BioBusiness School

The Biobusiness School is a 5 day annual event organized by the TBDO at the CRG to promote Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer. This program is in line with two of the main goals of the CRG: training the next generation of scientists, and translating new scientific knowledge into benefits for health and value for society.

Speaker Series

The speaker series attracts top-tier participants to our research community to share their experiences and discuss relevant topics of interest to entrepreneurs. These speakers are chosen from a broad range of expertise. To date our program has invited private investors, company CEOs, professionals from the pharma and biotech sector and seasoned entrepreneurs. Informal receptions are organized after talks to encourage networking within our community.
