OVERVIEW
The Tissue Engineering Unit provides researchers at CRG/PRBB and external organizations with support, consulting services and resources in the fields of stem cell biology, organoid formation and induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) applications. It also offers CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing services, in strict collaboration with the Biomolecular Screening & Protein Technologies Unit.

The Tissue Engineering Unit is one of the few facilities in Europe to offer in one place high-end technologies and unrivalled expertise for stem cell-based research. Its integrated services enable innovative solutions for disease modeling, drug screening and a wide range of clinical applications, including regenerative medicine and personalized medicine.
