Diana Domínguez, Ph.D.

Research and Interests

Diana is a highly accomplished professional in the field of biomedical sciences, with expertise in cancer immunotherapies and metabolism. She has a strong educational background, with a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Universitat de Barcelona and an MRes in Translational Cancer Medicine from King's College London. Her research has primarily focused on cancer immunotherapies. Diana further advanced her academic career by obtaining a Ph.D. in Biomedicine from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, specializing in cancer metabolism and the underlying transcriptomic and epigenetic events of metastasis. After a short post-doctoral period at IRB, Diana joined CRG in 2021 as an Innovation Facilitator, responsible for promoting collaboration between the research community and innovation stakeholders, initiating new projects, and identifying funding opportunities within the Horizon Europe program. In December 2022, she transitioned into the role of CRG New Ventures Manager, where she focuses on business development initiatives to create value and facilitate the exploitation of CRG technologies.
